PG Clamp solutions offered provides for secure holding support of transmission conductors. These parallel groove clamps come with features like high corrosion-resistance, aluminum alloy construction in hot forged finish, stainless steel based bolts & nuts in hot-dip galvanized finish, corrosion protected washer support, precision developed pressure pads with spring washers in hot-dip galvanized finish, copper based conductors and others. We can also custom design and develop these clamps as per the specific requirements of the customers.

The technical specification

This specification includes the design and construction of tension clamps for aluminum conductors at terminal and cross-sectional terminals.

Clamps are suitable for use in tropical areas with maximum ambient temperature of about 40 C and annual average temperature of about 28 C high humidity and heavy rainfall.

This specification refers to and meets the requirements of the following standards:

BS 3288:1973 - insulation and conductor fittings

Overhead power line

Bs729 - hot dip galvanized

Electrical systems

The fixture will be designed for three-phase, 3 wires, 33/22/11/6.6kv, 50 Hz primary distribution system, the power supply transformer's star point is grounded through the grounding resistance.

Design and construction

Clamps are made of materials that do not cause chemical corrosion in contact with aluminum conductors. They have tensile strength, that is, the fracture strength is not less than the fracture strength of the connected conductor.

Clamp design is reasonable, do not cause unnecessary strain and wear to the conductor surface.

Mark

The tightening clamp should be marked indelibly according to the customer's requirements.
